Understanding 'Enhanced' Agreements in Street Diligence

What are 'enhanced' agreements? How do they differ from other agreement types?

Updated over 11 months ago

When navigating through the Street Diligence platform, you might come across the term 'enhanced' in relation to certain analysis types. Here's what it means and why it's important.

Two Ways of Processing Data

Street Diligence processes data in two distinct ways:

  1. Agreement Level: This analysis is shown as a single column.

  2. Entity Level: This is referred to as 'enhanced' analysis and is displayed in multiple columns.

Agreement Level Analysis

When a document is processed at the agreement level, you'll see a single-column analysis. For example, in the case of a credit agreement for Tivity Health, the Document Analysis tab will show just one column, indicating an agreement-level analysis.

Entity Level Analysis

If a document undergoes 'enhanced' analysis, it will be processed at the entity level. This results in a multi-column analysis. For instance, an enhanced analysis of a credit agreement might show columns for various commitments like the Revolving Commitment, Tranche A Term Loan Commitment, and Tranche B Term Loan Commitment.

Example of Enhanced Analysis

Consider the example below where the term 'Closing Date Interest Rate' is highlighted in green. In this enhanced analysis, you can see different interest rates for Tranche A (425 bps) and Tranche B (525 bps). Each entity or tranche within the agreement is clearly displayed in its own column.

Benefits of Enhanced Analysis

Enhanced analysis offers several advantages:

  • Detailed Insights: Easily review the entities involved in a single deal.

  • Comparative Analysis: Compare key concepts across different entities.

  • Convenient Export: Access and export detailed breakdowns of concepts.

With our enhanced analysis, you get a comprehensive understanding of the agreements, helping you more efficiently review data across your deals.
