Starting from the Navigator view, once you add and save a filter set, Street Diligence will automatically display the average score of your filter set(s).
Let's take a look at an example here. Say you are searching for all deals under $25MM of EBITDA. To do so, you will go to Navigator to add a filter to narrow down by agreement type (in this case, Cash Flow Credit Agreement - US) and EBITDA range ($0-25MM). After choosing the "Save Filter Set" button, the populated results will appear under your filter sets on the left-hand side of the screen. This is highlighted in green below.
You will notice that all the deals within this filter set have a corresponding score. This is the "document" score, which is the weighted average of all metric scores analyzed in the document. This is indicated in the column highlighted in red below.
Now, turning your attention to the left side of the screen, you will see numbers populated by each saved filter set (indicated in the highlight below).
These numbers here represent the average score of all documents within the corresponding filter set. In the filter set in our example, we get an average of 3.87.
The number highlighted below verifies the average score of our documents within the filter set.
This feature eliminates the need for unnecessary exports and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets, saving you time and effort.
